I can relate closely with David in episode 2, going through a similar journey myself with surgery, ADT and radiation. Now having “mop up” chemotherapy. As David mentioned, the costs involved and limited private health refunds were a surprise. My April 2020 PSMA-PET scan for prostate cancer was not covered at all, although I understand there is some cover for other cancers, using the same machine. The penis injection stories so far sound a bit daunting, but I’m “willy-ing” to give it a try!
